Do folks retrain a lot?

Some do it a lot, some prefer to keep their skills.

Having to dump the top skill down in order to redo lower tier skills? Just curious as not sure what to do or even why the gladiator got 200 SPs to start BG career. Do you all drop skills and retrain other things?

In general, PoW is dynamic game. Despite the fact it's so slow for BG. In any case, every BG manager forced to change skills from time to time... Just to be in the stream. Or something like that. 200 training points is something a little less than You need to change one skill to other...
Why. Because every man have a chance to get mistake. Even if his gladiator is BG. :)

Personally, I re-train glads all the time. Among my Adoede and Tevrosin stables, half of them are undergoing some re-training right now.

Usually I use skill points to drop one notch to skill level 9. Then I use 225 trophies to drop it to 8. Saves a ton of skill points that way.

I re-train glads cuz I'm still working out what skills and gear strategy work best for each glad. My successful glads are the ones who've found a good mix of skills, gear, and strategy.
