    Increase bleeding resistance for armors

My glad's a tank and he loses to any theatric with the smallest dagger provided he has gratuitous violence. Since armor is supposed to protect against blows and bleeding to a certain extent, I'd suggest reworking the bleeding mechanics to make it so that fully armored dudes don't bleed out to the very builds they're supposed to counter.
    Thanks

No-no. Keep increasing bleeding rate, Nate!
It's so cool! Let's forget these dumb skills. Who cares how the skills work? Every gladiator must be an initiative runner! Despite of speciality. And only very wise managers will run the Tanks. Everything out of this concept must die!
I suggest also decrease strategy rows to one. It's enough for smart game with such concept, the Pit of Global War: Trugs vs Snivlers.

    Akynos,

There are ways to reduce your glads vulnerability to bleeding beyond just the armor you wear...which is why the top tanks are still able to defeat most of the bleeder theatrics in blood gods. Even slayer glads with the insane blood bath skill (instant 200-500 bleed) often lose to tanks if they don't connect with a blood bath early in the fight as they run out of endurance quickly. Just read some of Eleventwentytwo's fights and you'll be amazed at how untouchable a well run tank can be.

Nate has designed a complex game that allows for multiple ways to defeat every obstacle or defend against every strategy. If you're stuck in a rut, try new things. And for tanks, just know that their armor becomes exponentially more effective at the higher levels. But don't think tanking is an easy strategy to master. It can be very nuanced with one point difference here or there in strategy being the difference between out-lasting opponents vs. getting pelted into submission by the crowd.

Just to add some ... refinement.

The only strategy which can be used successfully against the Tank is the strategy of Raw Power.
It's because we have no strategy triggers to catch Tank style of an opponent.
And You know the Raw Power strategy. It's the strategy of 90% of gladiators at low brackets. Kill 9/8 at start.

Although some builds have enough tools to defeat a Tank. But only if You know that it will be exactly Tank in the next fight. For example, in Blood Games.
For a common strategy it seems impossible at the moment to use something different than berserk-like style, regardless of speciality.
(So, this strategy is these "multiple ways to defeat every obstacle" in Tank case, i think. :).

    So.
Have good hitting power? You have chance against a Tank. Have low of this? You have no chance.
By the way, pure theatrics have relatively low hitting power as usual. And, as usual, have no chance against good Tank.

For the background like this, the "complex problem" of a Tank (How not to die from the crowd damage?) looks just funny: To resolve this problem Tank doesn't needs to know something except Endurance and Health. And appropriate triggers works just fine (Unlike something like "Opponent is Slightly Active"). And any Tank have "multiple ways to ..." here. No doubts.

And yes. It's definitely helpful to read some of Eleventwentytwo's fights. Just to know how nice to block 50% of attacks having good Block state on the gear.
Unfortunately, these blocked attacks doesn't allows to understand the fight. But, perhaps, Adoede meant that Block saying "strategy to master".

// Ah. Akynos, You right about bleeding anyway, it just horrible right now. But not because of Gratuitous Violence. Even Shadows are able to score 100+ of bleeding for few rounds...

The high tier tanks are very hard to defeat with bleeding alone and don't take much damage from non-Rage opponents so you should certainly check the good performers in Blood Gods to get an idea what a tank can (and can't) do. Tanks are also very inflexible however so if their defenses are penetrated often enough and their "wait for the opponent to drop from exhaustion" strategy doesn't give quick results, they are in trouble. Do some investigation, you might be surprised.
