    Ground-Fighting Rages

Hello all, given the recent updates (new tier 6 skills) I was under the impression that the ones who would excel at Ground-fighting in the late game would be wars, and yet today my theatrics fought 2 rages, both of whom won the round due to hits they landed whilst grounded.

Is grounding intended to provide little to no disadvantage to rage glads? (they hit for the same and as often as they would have whilst up and about).

All glads can attack from the ground. Typically, activated attacks (Rampage, Adrenaline Rush, Crippling Might, etc...) can't be used while on the ground - which is why being grounded is such a big penalty. However, War Glads with the ground-fighting skill CAN throw activated attacks from the ground (Death from Above, etc...) - in addition to whatever other attack and defense bonus they get from the skill.

That's not new, Rages have never had too many issues with getting knocked down - they either get back up in the next round or get beaten during the same round in most cases, not much space for a middle ground. Due to their high hitting power and initiative, Rages tend to handle themselves better in offensive than the other classes when prone but that rarely compensates for their low resilience and the added initiative penalty for being on the ground usually dooms them.
