For example, is there any penalty for having an arm or leg of a gladiator with a large piece of heavy armor, while the other side only has light armor. Or having a wall shield on one arm, with a small knife in the other. Does this throw the gladiator off balance to a degree?

I would suspect it does to a degree, but I haven't tried much with equipment that's too unbalanced in weight, so I wouldn't know for sure.
Does anyone know?
