It's still going to put you many weeks, if not months, in front of everyone else when it comes to gear acquisition. Honestly it's put a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Do you have enough rank to buy orange weapons now? I don't know what the values are on buying stuff is now. But ya if you can pick up an orange a week for the rest of this tournament (i am sure you'll use trophies to buy them too so i could see it being possible) your win % should sky rocket as you'll be the only one with them leading to an even higher ranking score. Plus it should allow you to win every blood game once you've gone full orange gear till someone else spends trophies like that so that will lock up those legendary items also. Even if Nate changes it next season you'll be massively ahead unless someone else throws down the same amount of trophies too.

This game has always been partially pay to win with the achievement slots.... but man this looks like full on pay to win now.

It looks like for 1 season is possible to collect 2 weapons and 1 piece of armour max. We will know the exact numbers soon. For full orange it will take 2 or even 3 seasons. Can't see anyone dominating Blood Games for very extending periods since every gladiator has a tough match witch always tend to happen early or later. Recent examples:
march-Bruce leading until meet Bloody Lady
later martch-Bloody Lady leading until meet The Returned
may-ZetaII leading until meet Hubba Gubba (we are yet to see the final but Hubba already disrupted the lead).
Only gear and good build is never enough for Blood Games. You must have luck (not the luck stat ).

To bad that I've already spotted a helmet and the legs I want. Won't know how much is possible till next week when Belca actually gets his points but unless he gets nearly enough to buy a piece each time he won't be having a full orange set (yet)

Edit: if you guys are really interested I could put up the points he gained over the course of the first 3 weeks when he gets his third amount of points so you can try to calculate for yourselves how many points your glads will probably gain over the course of the season II

We don't know the increase in the first and second week since it was corrected after the second week. We can only observe the increase in the third week at different ratings. Right now BL is sitting at 2177 BGP. Before the correction it was 2800+.

I wish I had noticed Hubba was actually in Blood Games contention sooner, I would have put the extra achievements on him much earlier to have a better shot at it. :P But I haven't been around as much in the past month to pay close attention to everything.

On the point scoring, well, having a stable of high and low ranked glads in blood gods myself, the difference in BG points at the end is not that big between Hubba and Olga(dunno why I still haven't retired her). Obviously it will still be bigger for Prinny's score, but it probably won't be an astronomical gap.

I have a fair range in the scores to get numbers on with the 5 glads I've got in blood gods right now so if the system takes points into regard I should see atleast some decent difference...

Amon and Asatsuo should be fairly close in score but the difference between Yukimaru, Belca, Asatsuo and Vyers should be interesting
