    HoL

Newbie questions belong in the newbie guide area :P

Can someone explain what it means for a slave to be HoL?

Tried to find the answer myself but failed, sorry!

It is a slave picked from much higher quality stock then a common slave you will find in the slave market. You are awarded this "slave stock" by
retiring a gladiator that is eligible to enter the Hall of Legends. Once your glad retires to the HOL you have the ability to choose a replacement slave from this HOL stock. HOL slaves range from 975 to above 1100.

    To dont open another thread.

Whats the range of prices in the common slave market? Im waiting to fill my second slot with something near 1000. The best I have seen was arround 920 and he was a lot worse than the one I have now.

Highest you will see is likely below 1000 however on some rare occasion they could cost up to 1040.
Heard someone say he found a glad of 1100ish in the slave market before but I don't remember who said that nor have I ever seen that myself :P

People usually advise to find slaves with gold cost 950 or higher. I like to pick ones with stats to build around (ex. stam/str/size for a war glad, agil/int/pres for a theatrics), rather than rounded glads.
