    Defence bonus from small size?

Anyone know if the defence bonus of small size is an absolute value or a comparative value?
Ie. does all glads say size 55 and lower get a x amount of bonus defence against whoever they face whether their opponent is size 45 or size 90, or can my size 65 glad get some defence bonus against a size 85 opponent but nothing against anyone smaller than 85?

I've recently sold my first glad, Simm, a size 54 war, he surprised me for making it as far as maximus with just a blue weapon when he had only 1 starting stat above 70(stamina at 72) and 2 stat in the 50s. I'm certain his size might have helped in some fights, but I still can't put my finger on exactly how it worked.

Hmm that is interresting, i think size has a comparative value since the size determines how much health you have (idk if is as total health) but low size gladiators always have much more stamina, so consider that as an advantage

Where did you get the idea that low-size glads have much more stamina ??

About the initial question, I believe it's a fixed bonus in absolute value and not a comparative one, but I'm not sure and it's hard to prove by experiment...
