Tavern Fights are the most boring part of this game, I personally loath it.

Suggestion:
1 Click-Do All Tavern Fights(with energy limitations)
No gold
No drops
No random rewards
No...

You used to get trophies along with free repairs when you come back, it does not accumulate. (This was probably a bad way to get people to just log in once in awhile to collect the trophies.)
Now...

Telling people to leave is the best way to deal with dissent... amirite?

Personally, I'm quite unhappy that killing other gladiators gives pretty cruddy rewards now... I don't mind the other...

I would like to insert my down vote for the unannounced change(or bug) to trophy acquirement in relation to my gladiators prematurely ending the lives of the gladiators of other people.
