Exotics must deal more bleeding, as they are "unique" type of weapons for theatrics class... Otherwise every class could just pick axes and deal bleeding same as theatrics. At the end theatrics class...

First - get your weapon skill up to 10/10. It is must, other wise ur glad will drop weapon, miss hits, make small damage.

At normal gauntlet I get - 3squids for colored gem fights, before was 10 ( with same friend ), but for black gem i get only 8 squids, before was 30!...

Mine rage is 53-8-3 on lvl 16. I am using blades. Try to experiment with ur activity lvls and bloodlust at pit fights. It helped for me, atleast.

Maybe you got challenged in arena? IF enemy wins - he takes gold from you, if it is not stored in bank... (through challenge option)
