Obviously, I am doing something SERIOUSLY wrong.

My new Gladiator, Goliath, is 0-4. This last fight he lost, the guy who beat him was Bashing with his Falchion. Stats-wise, Goliath had better stats in every category except Size and Presence.

Goliath is using a Battle Axe and has 2 Trains in it so far. His Strat (his only strat, since he's low level) is:
Slash, 4, Head, Head, 7

So, tell me Guru's of Rage, what am I doing wrong and how can I improve Goliaths chances?

Looking at that fight, Im not sure how he won using that falchion incorrectly! He did manage to get some devastating hits on your Torso. As for slash, think the axe is more of a bashing weapon....it has a blade, but not one you can use with finesse. Just clobber with it. You chop with it, so think that is the same as bashing....just using brute force and kinetic energy to deliver damage.
