You guys think he's got enough stamina for a war gladiator? Or should I try making him a rage due to high chi ?

can go both ways, up to you really, the size will mitigate the stamina if you go war.
He'd be successful in either profession, I would personally go with War (as not only the stamina is a little low, so is the agility, I like my rages to get the first hit or at least hit often). Just my opinion ;)
