been listening to a lot of melodic deathmetal as of late...

Insomnium: Down With The Sun - Fallen in love with this band, and especially the album this song is off. Melodic, sad yet joyous. Even if you dont understand the vocals, the tone flows beautifully imo.

Before the Dawn: Dead Song - clean vocals and melodic verses with rockin chorus. Watch the guitarist on the right :P oh, and you know it'll be awesome when your frontman is kratos :P

Fleshgod Apocalypse: The Violation - if you're into sheer brutality, check these guys out. while the vocals (and most of the song) are not my style at all, the drumming makes me cream myself. play from 1:46 to hear what i mean
