Feint vs. Strength of the crowd.

Which skill is better for a purely offensive speed theatrics style, feint or strength of the crowd? I saw in many threads that strength of the crowd is a useful skill for speed theatric builds but others drop down that skill for feint. So, i want to know, does that skill triggers (often or at all) in a purely offensive speed style or is it a big failure as it is a defensive skill (that means it triggers only in defensive style/parry). As i have previous experience from one of my older theatric glads using surprise ending (defensive) on a pure offensive style and never triggers (i mean EVER). So is strength of the crowd usefull on offensive builds or not, and if yes when exactly it triggers? (when you take a hit or on random?)
