Well, I guess if you can resurrect him, how serious can it be?

The serious injuries section is only for injuries your gladiator gets that stick with him for a few days or until healed. Give it a few battles and you'll see what I'm talking about here. When you are dead that pretty much trumps any injury you might have had and when you rez any injuries he had are healed in the process. :)
Heh. It would be funny to say "-dead-" as a sort of status indicator maybe? I don't remember any other indicator except for the death sickness red stats.
Oh, and it would be useful to show the total equipment weight status for the gladiator selected when at the armory, as it heavily effects what I want to buy.
