Can you look at the effects of PRONE warriors?

Is it possible to put in extra code checks so prone warriors can't leap into the air, and other things like somehow hitting opponents in the face while lying down? Also after knocking an opponent down and smashing him from above, I can suddenly see I can't win and give up (?) These are little things but I like to read the fights too.

Gladiators who are prone are not considered to be laying face down on the ground. They could be on their knees, or one knee and a foot, etc. The effect of being "prone" means they are not standing and the opponent is doing their best to keep them from standing, thus a gladiator managing to leap off the ground to land a hit is expected, but said attack will result with them landing back onto to ground and rolling, etc, not on their feet.
