Question regarding skills

If u want one of the higher tier skills that require 55+ trained skills, can u unlock them and just put one point in the skill and unlearn some of the skills u used to get your total up to 55. Will the skill stay learned or will it disapear as the total skill trains goes under 55????

Example: I got 55 total skill trains in theatrics and i put one point in "knockout" and one in "heavy scaring" and then I unlearn 3 levels of " iron jaw"
putting my total skill trains back down to 54.

IIRC it stays but you will not be able to train it further unless you get back over 55. i think.

I dont see the long term point in doing so unless you only want 1 skill from another tree.

Like you said, it is only usefull if you are crosstraining but if you have the will to put some time and effort in this theory then you could possibly end up with a Theatrics glad with "Last stand" and "Brute force" and nothing else trained in the rage tree. providing it works offcourse:p
