5 training points for a 1 guranteed training point a day? maybe a system where you can concentrate on training just once like using training points to augment your chances of training like say 6.4% on something add 5 points increase the chances 10-20%. that would be kinda neat.
I would love this idea...missing every single training point (all 35) tries for the night sucks. Most of the time I only land 2-3 for the night.

I'm only trying for lvl 8 in a weapon skill with 23% chance and still miss every one each day. :(

releasing the trainer/spa would help this :)

I understand this at well. I am also seeing pretty much no difference in the amount of skills trained and progesses to the next point. I have a glad with 63 and one with 81 intel. being built and skilled sideby side (bought them at the same time) and for quite some time the glad with 63 intel had MORE trained points then the one with 81 intel .... and as of now they are tied but still after a week i'd like to see a little more reward for having 81 intel
Edit: Multiple weeks*

You won't see a huge difference early on as the chance to get a skill is pretty good. Where you'll notice it is when you are trying to get the 8s, 9s, and 10s. If you just grab a bunch of 6s, 7s and less you'll get to 100 skill points easy. But for many skills the difference between a 6 and a 10 is huge.

Yes indeed, that's what I'm hopeing on in the long run. Yet at currently weapons they are both being trained towards nine in 2h at the moment and the 65 intel is 90% and the 81 intel is at 70% with only a 2.1% diffence to train each point in favor of the glad with 81 intel and the slight difference that it is would be lessened due to the fact that it's more likely to train to 80% then to 100%......and they have a 16 point difference in intel...... 16points and <2.1% :\ not really liking it at all. + you can't really increase intel and get a bigger bonus with armor and achivements because the %'s are based off of the (starting) base values?

Not sure if you realize this or not, but your intellect isn't the only attribute that goes into determining the training chance. In the tooltip below your chance to train it lists out the attributes that go into it, so you can't just single out one of them. For 2H weapons Str, Int, Sta, all factor in.

Yes i do realize this but the glads only differ in those stats + or - 1 they are pretty identical glads that why I wanted to do this test....... the main difference is one has 80+ in intel and the other has low 60's and the one with low intel has high presence but that doesnt factor into the training of the 2H as you stated strengths matching of 75-74 and sta. 77-76 ..... ? Those 2 points cannot have a large sway factor it's the 15 points in intel and the 2.1% that's still kinda bugging me...... :\

Guys so you realize what it takes for your skill to increase u know the roll? If ur roll is under ur % to train then it gives the 1 skill point a check mark :D

Yeah, that's why I say its luck...
Well, I suppose you could say 90% luck and 10% intelligence when it comes to 8-10 skill training.

Indeed, it's just a roll. Maybe they should add an option which you can buy with trophies. Like: Next 30 skill-points will have a boosted x% succes rate

that would be pretty cool

I think especially once you've hit the <10% success chances, such bonuses would be one I'd like to pay some money for. It does save a lot of time, unless you're really unlucky of course :P Or make several options available, such as: 5 skillpoints with +50% or 10 skillpoints with 30% chance e.g.

The way I'd like to see it work is every consecutive failed train attempt raises the % chance a few points. Then when you succeed it resets to the base % again. That way it takes the frustration out of failing a 6.0% chance roll for weeks at a time, but doesn't make it too easy for everyone to run up to max skills either.

that also would be cool war.

That would also be quite a nice option indeed. I am reaching a little irritation level as I lost 12 skillpoints in a 56.2% roll D: A little extra % might just have saved me some SP

4 weeks I've spent trying for 9.3 in WS... Not a single point has succeeded in that time with a 7.6% chance...

Does luck (as in achievements), help with the skill points rolls?
HipsterD

only the built-in luck that your glad has from his creation will effect the roll, gear and achievements do not.
