Any advantage to run gauntlet solo?

Sorry to inundate with questions but aside from not giving your partner some free bonuses is there any advantage?

Or is the gauntlet just a nice way to share the loots with fellow glads?

I've done enough runs now I think, solo. I don't see the increasingly more difficult odds occurring I just see less squids, or none rather when soloing. IT's very easy to solo the gauntlet, I've never lost or come close but there is no benefit. The Gauntlet is a social experience and designed to be run that way. Disregard by first post I get it.
