I just got promoted to Blood Gods and got 10k BGP. Should i use it right away?? seems Legendary items are quite pricey and requires me to have a certain rating.

Yes. Each gladiator's BGPs get halved after the season ends so better spend them on gear. You are unlikely to get both the rating and the BGPs required to buy a Legendary item if your fighter is new to Blood Gods and still in regular gear (no Fabled/Legendaries from Gauntlet/Conquests) so better equip him or her with the maximum level Fabled gear you can get at the moment, level him/her to lvl 55 and then consider the Legendaries if you can afford them.

when does BG tournament ends?? at the end of every month??

Go to arena > rankings > all gladiators > blood gods. There you'll see when current season started and ends and next season starts.
