Challenge Cooldown not working?

How can I (twice now) receive challenges three times from the same gladiator in the span of just 1 or 2 minutes? I thought there was a cool down?

Here's the most recent:

Yihue challenged all three times. Huh? Whar cooldown? Whar?

This happened yesterday with another warrior as well.

Cool-down doesn't apply for glads in the top 10 of their respective brackets. Both of your glads are in the top 10 in Legend and Maximus brackets. Glads in the top 10 can be challenged non-stop until they drop out of the top 10 or get promoted to the next bracket.

I once had a guy challenge my glad 16 times in a row in one day - and beat me 16 times in a row. It was annoying. But one day I realized that in the bigger picture they're just helping me get to 1000 fights faster and once you're in blood gods bracket, nobody cares what your overall record is. The only thing that matters is your record during the current season. Incidentally, that glad was Seraph Madigant and he's doing fine now :)

Ah! Well, that explains it. Thank you very much. I am still very much a n00b at this game, but not text based gladiator games in general.
