How many HoL glads can I have in the slave market?

Hey there,
So I am almost about to retire my second gladiator, Laetorius. I was wondering, can I retire two glads in a row, and then still have two HoL recruits? I already retired Pedrojorge, so do I have to choose a HoL slave before I retire Laetorius or I can just get them both later?

PS: I would be a real shame to retire two glad and only end up with a HoL glad!

You can no doubt retire the second gladiator if it is his time.
If You retired two, You'll get an access to two of HoL in a row.
