Epic item with 0 stats

So today I got an epic soulbound item as reward from an arena challenge. It's a lvl 42 Armguard with 84 armour and exactly 0 stats on it.

Is the 84 armour so huge on a lvl 42 medium armguard that it uses up all the possible stats it can have or is this just very unrewarding?
