So in my fight with my level 7 gladiator she knocked out her opponet but i dont know the skill. is this a rare but insignificant occurance or is this not supposed to happen at my level?

To simply answer your question, Knockouts have a chance to happen in any fight. Certain factors can increase the chances of it happening such as aiming at the opponents head as well as the opponent wearing light or no head armor. Certain weapons also increase the chances of a KO and most of all training the Theatrics KO skill dramatically improves its chances.
