So, I think i have a bug.

After spending over 50 skill points, none hit below 12(or so)%.

I am sure all will say that this system is the most awesome system there is, so I guess that then i have bug, since it's impossible to level any skill beyond lvl 9. :(
Can we at least increase skills with trophies?

It's not a bug, just bad luck with the RNG rolls. 50 training points spent on futile attempts to increase something from 9 to 10 is far from some people's anti-achievements, trust me. I myself had a full week or red Xs once. In general though, your gladiator won't train much slower than his/her peers.

That was no 50 points to increase from 9 to 10, that was to increase just 10%. Guess I'll be waiting for few months to reach lvl 10 with this "chance".

Don't worry. Tomorrow you might hit three for five trains too. That's just the way it is with the skill rank from 9 to 10. But remember, rank 10 is much much more effective than rank 9. That's why all the top glads pretty much take 10 skills maxed to rank 10...regardless of how long it takes. It goes much faster for HOL glads, btw...either because of their higher average stats (thus higher percentage rolls) or their higher average luck.

Seriously. I just had some random skill lvl 8 with 50%. So, from daily to-do i got about 15 points to use and wanted to increase skill. Chance to increase it was 20%, or 20.2%, and about 7 of those hit just above 20%, and it's always like that (I did manage to get 1 successful point). If I have 50% chance to increase, then BIG MOST of points end up around 52-53%. If I have 20%, then most end up around 21-22-23%. Just like the lower ones. 7% or so, and most points end up around 10%.......
So, it's not luck, it's the system. Or bug.

This is working as intended. No bugs, no nothing, just RNG, sometimes you spend 10-15 points for 9 to 10

Some other times you spend 200-300

Learn to deal with it

Looks like we need to dust off our old friend the Law of Large Numbers. Nate you should just sticky this somewhere! ;)

Kuljem, take the time to read this. If English isn't your first language see if the Wikipedia article has it in your mother tongue on the left hand side. If you read and understand this law of probability theory, it will be of great use to you in the future with anything that is based off of random numbers like games.
