I'm popping with suggestions today...

This one is also long-term and low priority, but if you ever consider making changes to the fight-dialogue creation engine, I'd love to see more details about the initiative battles going on during the fight (these sorts of details really help add to the sense of realism in the game). For example:

Example of winning the initiative battle:
MADIGANT dodges the oncoming blow
Weapons clash as the gladiators vie for the initiative
MADIGANT quickly seizes on an opening to attack!
MADIGANT unleashes a breathtaking arcing slash with his GREATSWORD!
What a DEVASTATING attack!

OR

Example of losing the initiative battle:
MITHROS easily evades the attack leaping to his left!
MITHROS is looking for the counter-attack
ZODAK moves furiously to and fro
ZODAK's LONGSWORD sings as it cuts through the air!
MITHROS masterfully shifts his body out of harm's way
MITHROS leaps forward in a blur of motion
The warriors dance around each other testing each other's defenses
ZODAK moves decisively on the attack!
ZODAK lunges forward with a powerful twisting thrust!
MITHROS takes a blow to his LEFT LEG
MITHROS is brought to his knees by the force of the blow!

I'm sure the community could help come up with creative lines of dialogue if you were inclined to add this element to the game. I think it just makes the fights that much more exciting and realistic to read.

Having spent some time on other game forums recently, I'm struck again by how actively this game continues to be developed - most certainly a credit to Nate and one of the highlights of this game and community.

Let us know if we can help make it even better!

Actually a nice idea to add some flavour to the fights. Information-wise it doesn't help (Unless there is an initiative-battle in the rounds where noone even attacks), but nevertheless cool stuff.
