Reviving costs

Yesterday both Neera and Mr. Pete died and needed reviving in temple. (both died to bruce btw)
For some reason Mr. Pete's reviving costs was way higher than Neera, by almost 1/4 to 1/3 more. Even though Neera has obtained more achievements, is higher ranked with higher valuation, and wears higher grade equipment.

But how many more fights does Mr Pete have compared to Neera? That's where the difference in revive costs comes from

As Apoc pointed out the more battles a gladiator has seen the more costly it becomes to bring them back from the dead.

As of right now, Mr. Pete is 4455-3766, 8221 fights, Neera is 4665-3223, 7888 fights.
Less than 300 fights of difference, is that enough to cause a big difference in revival costs?
