Is This a Bug?

I just started playing yesterday and at first I didn't think something was wrong, but after reading the description and encountering this, I decided that maybe I should have it checked out if it hadn't already:

When I spend 2 trophies to have my gladiator fight in the black market, I still have the two I was supposed to spend. They are spendable (expanded my vault, for instance), just not with the black market for some reason.

If this is known, then don't mind me. I was playing on Google Chrome and Safari.
