I thought I read if you had your money in the bank it was safe from challenges. How come if I am challenged or if I challenge and have 0 gold on me I still lose money?

Yeah, auto-repair or auto-heal are the only thing I can think of, and since you are saying you lose gold when you are challenged or when YOU challenge I'm sure that must be the case because you don't lose gold when you make a challenge unless it is to auto-repair or auto-heal your glad.

After more study...when I have all my gold in the bank and I lose a challenge I initiate, I still lose money. Sometimes it's a couple of 1000's. When I am challenged and lose I see I am only losing 10% of the money I made for that fight.

So it seems having the money in the bank protects you from others challenging you, but if you challenge and lose your money is fair game to be taken.

No, it doesn't work that way. You can only lose gold when someone challenges you and wins and your gold isn't banked. You must have auto-repair or auto-heal running if you are losing gold.

That gold is not coming from your account. It comes from the game. Check your actual account balance before and after the fight.
