Did not recieve item from pit fight

Hi, my glad Whale Rider came in second place in yesterdays underground pit fights. I received a message congratulating my performance and giving me gold. When I followed the redirect link to receive my item, I was logged out and took to the home page. When I logged back in the message was gone and I never received the item. Site performance was sluggish, Im guessing server issues? Anyways just thought Id let you know. Thanks again for creating an amazing game. I thoroughly playing it :)

Head over to the Pit Fight screen with Whale Rider as your active gladiator and you'll see a link in the bottom right to collect your prize. If you can't find it or there are any problems please let me know. Not sure why the link didn't work, has anyone else had the same thing happen to them?
