The Enforcer presents Shirley with their share of the fight purse!

I do not understand, I was told it was because I was a two handed dunder, so I changed shirley to a human. I was also told it was because my agility was only 88, I completely revampedher and how her agility is 95, plus her other stats are higher. During this fight you see here I had activity level and bloodlust level set to 10 on every strategy row, the only difference I made was where my character aims depending on round. Why does it matter where she aims if she doesn't attack.

I'm sure that the person I was fighting here has more of a tank fighting style as his character has a shield. So for him to attack less is more understandable, but comon, why did it take me four rounds to make one attack when all strat rows were set to bash, when this tanky fighter only took one round more than that.

I tell ya what if I get Shirley to the point where I can retire her and get an hol glad, my hol glad will NOT be a 2h.

how much you attack is a combination of figthing style, activity, agi and encumbrance and probably a few other things aswell.
typically a 2h war using bash and 10 activity will attack once and sometimes twice in a around .
same glad using parry-bash will attack 0-1 time each round.
And using tank, attack maybe once every 6-8 round.

It will probably do your glad good to drop the blood lust down to the 6-8 range. another thing is if you want to attack drop your encumbrance, if you want to defend pack on as much armor you can carry. You will never attack much in a full suit of heavy armor unless your big hol glad in blood gods quality armor. So dont compare with those :)
Ill throw in the basic outline on how I run my war glads.

line 1 = start/standard-tank, line 2 = i have full health-tank, line 3 I have taken damage-bash
This should give you alot to test and try out.
good luck

I think it might be helpful if you manage your expectations. What exactly are you hoping to achieve with Shirley? If you are imagining a whirlwind of death and destruction as your 2H sword goes slicing through everything in sight you should have picked Rage. As Oedi mentioned a "fully operational 2H offensive war glad" will attack two times per round max. Some have managed to get a third attack in later rounds but as a general rule you'll never get more than two.

Not sure I would have switched to Human either. Dunder are a good race for heavy armor war glads as they have knockdown resist and heavy armor makes it harder to stand back up after being knocked down. Initiative has nothing to do with how many attacks you make, it determines when you will make those attacks, so the slow initiative penalty isn't too bad for 2H war glads and looking at Shirley's record it doesn't look like you have been doing anything too bad with her. Before you go switching back to Dunder though, give Human a chance and see what happens. A big part of this game is having fun experimenting and finding out what works and what doesn't.

When you are constantly changing strategies every round, you swing build-up gets reset every time you change.
