Training points missing

So, I have not trained skills for 3 days now and wanted to accumulate some training points.

But it seems the game won't let me do this. I have done the complete tavern for all 3 of my gladiators and every arena-fight for 3 days!

The result is that they still have the same amount of training points like 3 days ago.

Is there any possible bug that could occur, because these missing points really hurt :/

Each day at server reset time the points you have attained the previous day get reset to their initial amounts.
Hence if you don't spend the points your gladiator has gained you lose them.

Okay, thanks for the information:

But this means 2 huge questions for me:

1. Why is there nowhere a hint for this ? I just lost 3 days on all my glads.
2. Why is thsi mechanic in the game ?

Im normally not upset about such things, but it just hurts a lot :/

1: I think it was on the tutorial for the game, not sure if it's on a help button in the game itself or something though
2: Dunno, it's pretty natural to just spend the points when you get em though :p
