i obtained a weapon in the gauntlet with kill rank and block rank. how does it work?

Bonus stat ranks are added bonus that help out a glad. Each has a max rank of 1000. They do as exactly as they describe. Of course the higher the rank, the more often and more effective they work. If a glad gets a top 3 in the blood games the bonuses are very high. Defensive glads can benefit from block, extra armor& bleed resistance. Small weapons glads can really benefit from armor penetration & extra damage. I believe zero eleven with his 3or 4 wins in the blood games has a 500 point block bonus in gets him a lot of blocks when activated. Of course Oedi can tell you more about that.

Actually 011 has a 386 block rank bonus, setting that fact aside it's still rather high :p
