Trophy not credited

Hi,
My stable won today's Primus Battle Royale, but my trophy total was unchanged. (11 this morning, still 11 after the BR). Shortly before the BR, I maxed out the gold limit on my stable; perhaps the prevention against accumulating more gold also prevented the trophy addition?
