Sounds like Jimmy paid Lanaya off to fix the fight, lol!
I've had a few of those happen to me. All you can do is just laugh it off and move to the next fight. If it happens often enough you can try defending your head, or maybe picking up iron jaw. I believe Lanaya has a heavy helm though so I suspect it probably doesn't happen too much. Anyway, it's better than being on the receiving end of one-hit-one-kill.
