Surprise Ending not working?

I have 2 level 50 glads with surprise ending

One w/ Surprise Ending Lvl 10
The other level 8

The thing is - they NEVER use surprise ending. I mean - in like a whole week of fighting - not once.

Does it even work? Is it broken?

I even changed strats from counter - to Parry - to -slash - to lung - and nothing.

Both defensive glads.

I know that it works for some people - what I am wondering is why I have so many levels and it isn't firing. At level 10, I should see it fire at least once a day.

Well, counter attack and parry-x are usually the ones to set it off, if you haven't stuck to those already.

Also, your strategy needs to be somewhat defensive, ie - if you are flying all over your opponent doing 5 swings to his one, then it's not very likely to go off since you could be considered to be fighting offensively. That's what I've surmised from my experience so far.
