I had 101 Health....he had 6....and the Enforcer spared MY life????

This is happening far too often, lately. Not just to me, but to many opponents I have faced, as well. I have won duels I should have lost, and lost duels I should have won, much, much too frequently.

Is there any plan to tweak this so that the matches actually play out to the logical conclusion?

I've had it happen too but I think once you are below a certain percentage of hit points you might give up regardless of whether you are "winning". There's even a skill for this. Think of it as your warrior's pain threshold or willpower. The other guy may have been teetering on unconsciousness but he wanted it more.

Yeah, that sounds pretty good. I don't buy it, though. :)

From the FAQ:

Q: Why did my gladiator lose, he had more health than the other guy?
A: Once a certain threshold is hit the Enforcer will start thinking about saving your gladiator and preventing him from dying. Sometimes both gladiators will be past that threshold and based on numerous factors (the Presence attribute being a big one) the Enforcer will stop the fight and save your gladiator even if he has more health than the other guy. Sometimes he just doesn't want to take the chance that your gladiator's opponent gets in one last lucky hit.

Sure....but 101 to 6 ? That's excessive caution.

Bleeding plays a role in the enforcer's decision also, if a fighter is losing a lot of blood it seems he enforcer tends to end fights early due to it.
As does presence, grim determination, and last stand.
Also I believe the gladiator's are rolling on whether or not to quit themselves in addition to the enforcer deciding to end it.
So there are many factors going on. I recently lost a battle due to passing out but the opposing gladiator had zero health. So I was passed out and the opponent was laying defeated on the ground...and he won. go figure.

Not really if the gladiator with 6 health can do 101 or more damage with one hit.
