So, what happens when you retire a gladiator?

Really guys, what happens with his gear? If I don't have slots to deposit it in my vault?

I'd hate to lose all the gear I've been hunting the blacksmith around for daily..

When you retired a glad to the hall of fame, you can still access the gear they are wearing to take it off (you cant put new gear on them). So it can just wait there on the retired glad till a new glad is ready to use it.
