The things that should already be in the game:
When using two different weapons (Say a Slash and a Bash weapon) we OBVIOUSLY do not want to slash with our blunt weapon!
Some benefit in being small. You know the saying...bigger they are..
Things i would like to see:
Animal fights, including an animal slot so we can raise our own animals to fight in the arena..they could have some sort of loyalty or tamed status to determine if they will obey, be utterly confused..or at worst attack your glad instead
Team fights in stable versus stable style
And finally my own suggestions for new races:
Minotaur
Increased Crit chance
Increased crit dmg
Less normal dmg
Ogre
Increased Size
lower initiative
Boarman (or whatever Razorback is supposed to be)
Increased accuracy
Less initiative
Increased stun resistance
Cyclops
Decreased accuracy
Decreased blind resistance
increased chance to use skills
Gnome
Increased luck
Decreased gold loss
lower size
Deamon (Trophy cost to unlock)
Increased skill use chance
Increased chance to kill
Lower Presence
Increased attack power
Troll
Decreased healing time (heals injuries faster)
regeneration (gains some hp back every round. Like around 15 or so)
decreased intellect
Lizardman
Decreased Injury severity (self)
Decreased Death sickness
Increased injury chance (others)
lower luck
