As example, when it shows that I need Strength and Intellect,
does that mean that when the skill is used..
that strength contributes the most and intellect second - or is that just for the percentage showing how easy it is to learn the skill?

Or do they contribute equally?

You know I have absolutely no idea myself, I really should find out! So I'm curious for an answer to.

I haven't really been fine tuning a lot so never payed much attention to those stats listed. I kind of assumed those are stats to get for that skill to be more effective but never really min maxed around it.

the effectiveness of a skill is based on the stats it lists. the higher the skills, the more effective the skill.

do all of the stats in the list count the same or does the first one count more?

the stats listed in the popup box when you highlight a skill are what are relevant. try and come up with a skill set that have complimentary stat requirements to get the most out of your glad.

If a skill needs strength and intellect, does it need them equally?

In other words, if I have skill that requires str and int ...
and your gladiator has...
Str 100 and Int 100 (total 200 pnts)just as good as
Str 150 and int 50 (total 200 pnts) - just as good as
Str 50 and int 150 (total 200 pnts)?

Thank you for the insight!

that, I am not sure about, but it seems that the best results are when both values are high-ish and about equal, compared to 1 being really high and the other rather low.

by extension of this, I feel like there is a square root function for the sum of squares in here to calculate effectiveness, but that's my pseudo mathematician talking :P
