My newest gladiator just gained the Pitfighter Champion title. Does it have any affect other than looking cool?
Also an other unrelated question; in the overview screen, just above your specialisty it says 'school: arms and armour'. What does this mean? It's the same for all my glads? Do you think this was from a time early on in the game when maybe the designers were thinking of adding spells or something? All glads use weapons and armour...

Each title you get has an achievement that came with it, those can be equiped on the achievement screen (2 of them take gold to use, 4 more slots for trophies) like that title i believe gave you a +2 size achievement. Now if you hold that champion spot for 7 fights you will be get the undisputed pitfighter champion title which is +5 to size.

Ok thanks. Must be pretty difficult keeping 1st place without getting promoted. I saw from another thread it can be beneficial to lose fights to do this. How many points are wins/losses/kills/deaths worth btw? And what gets you promoted?

Being promoted is just based on your points each tier has a cut off and when you go over that in points you go to the next level, I just go up to the next teir and go to the last page of glads and see what the lowest guy is at, can normally tell by that what the cut off is.

I don't think anyone has ever figured this out, totally trashing your opponent is worth a lot, kills add on, besides that not sure.

School determines the fighting styles and skill tree available to your gladiators.
Currently there is only one school "Arms & Armour" available which offers the choice amongst 3 styles : Rage, War and Theatrics.
However it has been announced long ago that a second school is in preparation, its name would be "Shadow & Myst" and I must say I am very impatient to see it open as it will be a huge game-changer !

I'm curious about this because I've 2 different titles that I can't find anywhere in the achievements list. The first one is "THe Prodigy" which I think that gladiator had right from the get go when i bought him. He's a human War and his highest stat was an 82 size. The second one I can't find is "The Unforgiving" which I've gotten on a human Rage who only uses fight strat 10 activity 10 bloodlust in berserk.
If anyone knows whatsup with these titles and if there's any others I'd love to hear from u

The Unforgiving is an achievement for killing, for 10 kills. The Prodigy you get when your glad manage to become the highest ranking Amateur.

What is Child of the Great Realm? Im guessing something to do with the number of arena battles you've fought/won?

Take a look on the achievements screen and you can find all the titles and what you need to do to get them. Child of the Great Realm I think is 100 wins or something like that.

Maybe there are hidden titles, not sure. But if you want them to be hidden, just don't look for them on the achievements screen and you'll be surprised each time a new one pops up! ;)

Don't look, and they will be 'hidden' for you, lol
