Getting better at it in Primus

So Toringul won 7 out of 8 with 4 or 5 kills. He still has a green weapon and challenged gladiators ranked 13-30-ish. My future looks bright by how things go at this level (level of me being a manager; equiping, training and buffing my glads which are only two slots for each). Toringul is now 18th in Primus which is something awesome to me since it didn't seem to be by lucky wins at all. Cainedesoulis seems to be Toringul's superior when it comes to the same kind of build. My first stable's performances (Tribus Frisii) are lacking compared to my second stable (Frisiorum). I think it's mostly because my two top and oldest gladiators in my first stable are two-handed rages which don't seem to do good at all end-game. Their big + atm seems to be the ability to get through the last arena challenges with lucky huge hits. I'm pretty sure I've built them right to what I want them to be. That class and weapon choice really seem to not be up against the big wars and theatrics. I'm blabbering on..:p I'm a newbie on the PoW forums and felt like giving an update so you people can get to know a bit more of me.

Anyway; prospects are good by the way I run my stables atm. I hope I'm inducing some fear into the top 9 (since I'm 10th). I'ma get you.. I'ma get you all :p

Back on prospects and gladiators which I see as superior... Valinda (lvl 48, green equipment aside of one blue dagger) just beat CaineDeSoulis without receiving a single blow. Valinda is most likely to become my top-gladiator at this point. Purple gear should bring her a far way. Comment anything you want if you've met my glads a few times. I made this thread to just randomly talk about how I'm doing and what I think of my performances as a manager and my glads; both criticism and compliments are welcomed.

Hello Vhani, I meet your glads often and I think too that Valinda is your most promising gladiators, she inflicted quite some impressive defeats to my guys...

She might however have a problem against Warriors in heavy armor due to the fact that she is use only daggers, how good is she doing against them ?

Also, did she already meet Prey and what was the result, he's currently the top ranked rage in the "bird of prey" style ?

Stun is a somewhat reliable though, hitting lots means you get a lot of chances to hit the small chance to trigger any kind of debuff.

Warriors are a problem. The misses and deflections take away a huge deal of her hits. I hope Athleticism will fix a lot of em. It's a long way to get there though, since that skill is a long way outside of my main skill tree. She is able to defeat quite a few though, getting that skill might turn her into a monster. I'll just have to see how things work out in the long run with her.
